The short answer – yes and no. Dependent on where you buy it from, Worcester Bosch air con can be an affordable option in terms of up-front cost, however it’s important to consider on-going running costs which, due to their lower energy efficiency, are likely to be higher than other units such as the Toshiba Haori.
The Bosch units are fairly well built, however reports on their reliability are mixed. Regarded as an entry level system, these are offered by most of the big players in the industry that normally specialise in boilers. You’ll probably notice that most companies offering Worcester Bosch Boilers are now offering their air conditioning systems, but the two products aren’t quite on the same level.
Worcester Bosch boilers are all manufactured in the UK, so they’ve got a good reputation for reliability, however the Worcester Bosch air con units are all manufactured overseas, and don’t seem to have the same build quality that you’d expect from their boilers.

Can I buy Worcester Bosch from EchoEco?
Another short answer here for you – unfortunately not. As you can see from the comparison table above, we don’t offer the Worcester Bosch simply because other units are more efficient, quieter, have more features and are actually cheaper! We don’t see the point in offering an inferior unit at a higher price, so we’re straight forward and honest about what we do and don’t stock.
If you’re looking for a more premium option, you’ll find it in our Toshiba range which feature interchangeable covers to suit your room style. For a more unique look, we’re one of very few companies in the UK to offer the Toshiba Daiseikai with it’s stunning real wood trim for a timeless look.
Is Worcester Bosch air con worth the money?
The Worcester Bosch units are solid air con units, but we don’t personally recommend them. If you’re looking for a budget friendly air conditioning system, then you’ll get a lot more for your money with the Fujitsu Airstage range. WiFi functions are included for free (not an extra charge), there’s different colours to choose from, they’re quieter when running (perfect for bedrooms!) and they’re much more energy efficient, so they’ll save you money long-term too.
